artistic vision and he stands today as one of the leading, internationally
recognized makers.
With his generosity and enthusiasm, Paul has helped many young makers
through training in his workshop as well as conducting master classes.
Fired with the urge to communicate and share his skills and vision,
Paul has lectured and exhibited throughout the world at guitar festivals and

Art
in Action Waterperry
Park, UK July 1996 Art in Action is a specific biennial event where international artists and craftsmen at the top of their profession are invited to display and demonstrate their particular talents. Paul Fischer has been invited many times over the course of his career.

Guitar
Maker’s Master Class, Classical Guitar Festival of Great Britain, Aug 1992 Paul Fischer organised a unique exhibition of British luthiers for the Classical Guitar Festival of Great Britain in West Dean.

Lecture & Masterclass. Caracas, Venezuala 1997 The
class was made up of amateur and semi-professional makers.
Some brought parts of instruments to be completed.
The main theme, of the master class was concerned with soundboard
preparation for different bracing patterns. |

Craft
of the Luthier Exhibition 2001 This was a high-profile exhibition of hand made British guitars at David Linley’s large furniture premises in Belgravia, London. Paul Fischer exhibited an 8-string classical guitar with twin soundholes in the Francisco Simplicio style. Paul exhibited two guitars: an 8-string and a baroque guitar. All the works featured in the exhibition were in included in Betty Norbury’s book, British Craftsmanship in Wood (Stobart Davies Limited) |
